The geology of the area, according to the study performed, shows a vein system which was
generated during or after the Veta Madre (Mother Vein) mineralization process, which have been the
main ore source of the area since 1500’s.
The 2 properties in this study shows relevant information regarding the geology of the area, because
they were on production stage during early 1900´s. Also, the study performed by CDRM during 1959,
mentioned a 103,000 blasted tonnes, with an average grade of
7.8 grs Au equivalent (3.23 grs Au / ton, 231 grs Ag/ton).
Capping the higher hills around Guanajuato almost everywhere are vast strata of tuffs and
agglomerates which largely obscure the older geological formations.

Vital Creek
The gold project Vital Creek is located in British Columbia, Canada. The size of the project is 36.46
hectares or 90.09 acres. The property consists of BC placer claim 1070391. The property is underlain
completely by crown land. Within the claim boundaries, Vital Creek runds north-south for
approximately 2.3 kilometers, binding both the east and west side of Vital Creek. It is intersected by
4-wheel road, which runs astride Silver Creek, which branches from the road between Manson Creek
and Takla Landing. The claim center is at latitude 55.704080° longitude -125.473530°.
Vital Creek flows northeasterly from the Vital Range into Silver Creek approx. 41 kilometers northeast
of Takla Landing. The creek drains an area underlain by a north-northweststriking, east-dipping met
sedimentary / volcanic suite assigned to the Carboniferous to Jurassic Cache Creek Complex. Here,
phyllite, limestone and tuff are the most common members. These rocks host numerous barrenlooking,
locally rusty, white quartz veins varying up to a meter in width.
Exploration on the creek dates back to 1869 when gold was originally discovered in the district.
Initial work was by means of drift diggings, followed later by ground sluicing and hydraulicking.
